Greg Tomlinson

Greg is a leader in the leadership development and executive coaching industry with extensive consulting experience in developing and delivering tailored coaching solutions.
Until recently he was the Queensland State Director for the Stephenson Mansell Group and as such was responsible for implementing leadership development solutions that link individual executive effectiveness to organisational performance.

In his capacity as an executive coach and leadership development consultant, Greg has assisted senior executives and individuals at all levels of ASX Top 100 organisations. His work has focused on leadership development, cultural change, performance improvement, individual and corporate values alignment, outplacement, onboarding, and stretch assignments. He has coached clients from the public and private sectors in Australia and Asia from organisations including QR, DETA, Qantas, Stocklands, AT & T, Daimler Chrysler, Commonwealth Bank of Australia, James Hardie Industries, Westpac Bank, Brisbane Airports Corporation, Grainco, Suncorp-Metway Bank, University of Queensland, and Australian Institute of Sport. He has also provided coaching to many State Government senior leaders and facilitates leadership programs for their senior management teams.

Greg uses and is familiar with a range of coaching assessment tools and methodologies including MPG 360 assessments, Personal Directions, MBTI, and Career Anchors. In addition to corporate work, he has worked with the Australian Institute of Sport / Queensland Academy of Sport providing coaching, career management skills, and goal-setting techniques to coaches, administrators and elite athletes. He has developed and regularly presents a career management program for the University of Queensland's management school graduates, and is a co-facilitator in the Management Frameworks MBA course. Greg also regularly presents to MBA students on developing leadership skills. Greg has recently been awarded the status of Industry Fellow for the University of Queensland.

Greg's significant career experience in the Australian banking industry has included senior executive positions in human resources. During his tenure at Westpac Bank he was an active participant in the Senior Manager Development Program. He holds a Diploma in Corporate Management from the Australian Graduate School of Management, University of New South Wales and has completed an Advanced Management Program at Macquarie University.

Greg often speaks at conferences and to media in Australia and Asia on issues regarding career and personal effectiveness, and coaching.
