Program structures
Bachelor of Commerce (Honours Prerequisites)
Students will benefit from the completion of ECON2300 Introductory Econometrics in their undergraduate degree. Students interested in the Finance Honours courses should ensure that FINM3402 (BSFN3402) Investments and Portfolio Management is completed prior to entering the Honours program. ACCT3102 (BSAC3102) External Reporting Issues and ACCT3103 (BSAC3103) Accounting for Corporate Structures should be completed by students intending to enrol in Accounting Honours courses.

B: Students complete additional #8 of courses from the Electives list with up to #4 of other level 6 from within the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law as approved by the Head of School. Courses selected must include specialisation courses and MUST be approved by the BCom(Hons) Coordinator.

Not every course is offered each year. It is the student's responsibility to confirm availability of courses with the UQ Business School.
Where approval of the Head of School is required, students are required to submit a written proposal, initially to the Honours Coordinator.
