Field of Current Research

Title of Research Area Brief Description
Enterprise Systems Corina currently undertakes research in the field of Enterprise Systems and the use of critical realism as philosophical paradigm in Information Systems research. Her PhD thesis focuses on achieving Alignment between organisational requirements and Enterprise Systems capabilities, an investigation of a longitudinal case study employing grounded theory through the lens of critical realism.
Motivation in Information Systems Development & Implementation Previously Corina has investigated factors that influence successful outcome of Information Systems Development and Implementation. During her Master's thesis she identified these factors as mainly being non-technical, such as organisational behaviour, personal attitudes, motivation, commitment and involvement of individuals and teams in IS projects.
Business Process Modeling Corina's others interest include research in the field of business process modelling in large scale projects, national cultures and their relationship to decision making processes in organisations, the diffusion and usage of mobile information systems technologies in organisations and improvement of teaching methods in this area.
National Culture Corina has co-authored a journal paper published in Journal of Global Information Technology Management 2004. Her work in progress papers have also been published in Proceedings of Australasian Conference on Information Systems, European Conference on Information Systems and Americas Conference on Information Systems. In 2007 Corina has been invited to participate in the Doctoral Consortium of the International Conference on Information Systems.
Corina has co-authored a journal paper published in Journal of Global Information Technology Management 2004. Her work in progress papers have also been published in Proceedings of Australasian Conference on Information Systems, European Conference on Information Systems, Americas Conference on Information Systems, and International Research Workshop on Information Technology Project Management.
