Field of Current Research

Title of Research Area Brief Description
Technology-mediated learning Research in this area focuses on the use of advanced technologies in virtual learning environments, the evaluation of eLearning technologies, and the impact on eLearning effectiveness. A particular interest of this research is personalization of virtual learning environment and its effects on eLearning effectiveness.
Knowledge management systems Knowledge management research is a natural and logical extension of my work in the area of technology-mediated learning, since learning is the process by which information is converted into knowledge. A particular interest of KM research is investigation of the role of information and communication technologies in development and implementation of knowledge strategies and the impact on organizational performance.
Business intelligent systems Research in this area focuses on business intelligence systems theoretical foundations, applications, and technologies, such as intelligent agents and data mining. Knowledge based business intelligence system is able to optimize business processes and resources, improve proactive decision making, and maximize profits and minimize costs. In particular, I am interested in financial monitoring systems, knowledge management systems, workflow management systems etc.
