Local entrepreneurs and start-up businesses looking to take their idea or business to the market will benefit from a workshop being held in Brisbane South next week.
An initiative of the Queensland Government's Department of State Development, Trade and Innovation and delivered by the Australian Institute for Commercialisation, the Ideas2Market program provides a strategic approach to building and growing sustainable businesses.
Innovators, entrepreneurs, new ventures and start-up businesses will take-away vital advice, ideas, hints and references to assist them in making that all important step of taking a business or product to the market.
A full day workshop will be held in Brisbane South including Ipswich and Beenleigh shires on Thursday the 13th October, 2005 at Brisbane Technology Park Conference Centre, 1 Clunies Ross Court, Eight Mile Plains between 8:30am and 5:00pm.
This is the first full-day workshop in Brisbane South this year, providing a unique opportunity for local residents to gain the knowledge required to take their ideas to market.
Ideas2Market introduces:
- new strategies for product development for your target market
- what intellectual property is and how to protect innovative ideas
- taking products to market and some of the common commercialisation pathways used
- where to get various sources of funding to develop your business or product
- a real-life case study of an entrepreneur taking their product to the market.
Ideas2Market is an outstanding tool in helping develop the skills needed to navigate through the pre start-up, start-up and growth stages of taking an idea to market.
