UQ Indigenous Business Hub and Triple A Murri Radio join to amplify Indigenous business voices

5 May 2026

The University of Queensland (UQ) Indigenous Business Hub (IBH) is helping to support Indigenous organisations and ventures in a new sponsoring agreement with Triple A Murri Radio in its ‘Let’s Talk Business’ program.

The sponsorship enables First Nations knowledge-sharing and community engagement, while drawing on the research expertise of the UQ Business School’s IBH members. The partnership also enables meaningful engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities through Triple A’s established media platforms.

Director of UQ’s Indigenous Business Hub and Saltwater woman, Associate Professor Sharlene Leroy-Dyer, a proud Garigal/Darug and Awabakal person, said the sponsorship is an important step in celebrating and supporting Indigenous ventures and reflects a shared commitment to community and self-determination.

“This collaboration is about creating spaces where Indigenous businesses can be seen, heard and celebrated. Through ‘Let’s Talk Business’, we are strengthening connections and supporting the growth of our Indigenous business community,” said Associate Professor Leroy-Dyer.

The Let’s Talk Business program is a dedicated platform designed to showcase Indigenous enterprises, share success stories and strengthen connections within community.

The collaboration will leverage Triple A’s extensive national reach and the IBH’s expertise in Indigenous business development to elevate First Nations voices and foster economic empowerment.

Renita Anderson, CEO of Triple A Murri Radio, highlighted the importance of media in empowering Indigenous voices.

“Triple A Murri Radio has always been committed to telling our stories.”

“Partnering with the UQ IBH allows us to further support Indigenous entrepreneurs and showcase the strength of our communities,” said Ms Anderson.

The sponsorship was celebrated with a morning tea attended by team members from both organisations, providing an opportunity to connect, share stories and mark the beginning of this exciting collaboration.
