What you will learn

Completing these (ISC)2 approved provider workshops will teach you:

  • The impact of physical security elements on information system security and how to apply secure design principles to evaluate or recommend appropriate physical security protections.
  • How communication and network systems function.
  • How to identify standard terms for applying physical and logical access controls to environments related to their security practice.
  • How to appraise access control models to meet business security requirements.
  • How to enhance and optimise an organisation’s operational function and capacity by applying appropriate security controls.
  • How to recognise risks to an organisation’s operational endeavours and assess controls.
  • How to understand, apply security to and assess the effectiveness of software security measures for the System Lifecycle and Software Development Lifecycle.
