The Colloquium showcases the research ideas of the Business School's Higher Degree Research students.

One of the main purposes of the Colloquium is to provide support and constructive feedback for our early career researchers. In addition to this, the event aims to accomplish several important purposes:

  • Preparing students for the experience of presenting papers at conferences
  • Giving students the benefit of broad comment and critique by staff and fellow students
  • Showcasing student research so that it can be more effectively communicated to the media
  • Highlighting the importance of impact measures in assessing research
