At UQ Business School we are proud of the students competing in the Student Managed Investment Fund Portfolio Case Competition. The competition looks to deliver an exciting opportunity for students to actively manage investment funds and gain authentic experience applicable in the real world.
Join us at the Student Managed Investment Fund Portfolio Case Competition Final, on Thursday 26 September 2019 for the winner announcement! Our three finalist student teams will present their portfolio proposal to a panel of judges, each battling for the opportunity to manage the fund for six months.

About the Student Managed Investment Fund
Established in 2017, The University of Queensland Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF) enables UQ Business School students to apply their academic knowledge and acquire practical skills by managing a portfolio of Australian equity securities, using real money in real time.
Students gain exposure to the world of asset management by assuming the role of portfolio managers and are responsible for construction, monitoring and management of the fund.
