The last couple of months have been incredibly challenging with change happening in every facet of our life, at a pace that we have never experienced before. Continuously adapting to our dynamic landscape at work and at home has been exhausting for our brain. When our brain resources get low, it is more difficult to manage stress and regulate emotions.

Many of us are experiencing higher levels of fatigue, anxiety and sadness as well as a lack of motivation, all of which can negatively impact our performance and interpersonal interactions. As we embark on our “back to work” strategy, again we will be asked to change and find a new “normal” in life after COVID-19. It is now more important than ever to keep an eye on our own mental health, and that of our colleagues.

Join us as Dr Diane Harner, Founder of CleverMinds Consulting, discusses personal mental health in the aftermath of COVID-19. This session will cover:

  • Monitoring your own mental state within the context of the change curve
  • How stress and uncertainty might express itself in terms of behaviour
  • The importance of empathy for others as every individual is having their own unique experience
  • How to manage overwhelm and procrastination
  • Emotional regulation strategies for when things get tough

There will also be an opportunity for Q&A with Diane during the session.
