Researcher biography

Nnaemeka is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at UQ Business School. His research is focused on transition-aligned investment and debt portfolios management, investigating the role of large asset managers and lenders in driving corporate decarbonisation, and using financial products to make the transition to a decarbonised society. Nnaemeka has a multidisciplinary background with a primary interest in energy economics and climate policy. Nnaemeka develops and applies energy-economy-environment (E3) models to study the mix of policies and strategies needed for societal transition to a low carbon economy.
