Researcher biography

Sara received her doctoral degree in Business Administration from Jönköping International Business School in Sweden. Her dissertation focused on how organizations manage technological change. In 2017, she received the Oskar Sillén Award for Best Doctoral Thesis in Business Administration in Sweden. Sara has considerable experience teaching in strategic management, leadership, and entrepreneurship. Together with colleagues from Sweden, she ran a certificate program funded by the European Union and the Swedish Agency for Regional Growth to provide SMEs with practical advice to implement growth strategies. Her current research is focusing on the process of starting a new venture and the development of the startup ecosystem.
