Researcher biography

Jennifer is a lecturer in Finance at UQ Business school and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. Her research interests include mutual funds and empirical asset pricing.

She is also active in undertaking scholarship of teaching and learning research with a focus area of:

  • Transition Pedagogy, with an emphasis on improving first-year student learning experiences while building employability at an early stage
  • Sustainable Learning, authentic assessment and feedback by design
  • Student-Staff Partnerships in teaching practices

She is also keen to develop research in embedded Work Integrated Learning (WIL) in teaching Finance.
