How can I pay if my company does not have a corporate credit card?
Please contact us via execed@business.uq.edu.au or (07) 3346 7999 if you need us to arrange an invoice.
Do you offer discounts for bulk order/larger groups?
We offer a 10% discount for enrolments of 4 or more participants from the same company.
If your organisation is intending sending multiple staff on our programs throughout the year, contact our team to explore your options.
What is the maximum number of people per course?
We aim to deliver a personalised learning experience whilst providing participants with a rich networking group; therefore, our group size averages around 20 participants.
Are there assessments?
There are no mandatory assessments or tests for our courses. Some pre-readings may be encouraged to set the scene. Exercises and readings post-course may be suggested to enhance your learning.
Does a UQ Executive Education course result in a qualification?
Participants will receive a Digital Badge certifying your completion of the course. You may display this badge on your social media platforms (e.g. LinkedIn), email signature etc.
What is a digital badge?
A digital badge is an indicator of an accomplishment or skill that you have attained.
Digital badges allow you to:
easily manage, share and verify your learning achievements,
obtain a secure verification that adds credibility to your achievement, and
connect your skills with active job opportunities.
The University of Queensland is working with Credly to provide digital badges. Credly collaborates with top global training providers, credential issuers, associations and academic institutions that are similarly focused on the power of verified skills and achievements. Credly transforms knowledge, skills and achievements into digital credentials that empower individuals to connect with learning and career opportunities.
Where are you courses held?
Our courses are held at our Brisbane City campus, 293 Queen Street, opposite Post Office Square. It is a 5-minute walk from Central Train Station and King George Square bus terminal.
Is there on-site parking?
There is no on-site parking available; however, there are many secured paid parking options nearby. We are easily accessible by public transport too.
What should I bring on the day?
The temperature of our room may be too cool, so we recommend dressing accordingly or bringing extra layers.
How do I share my dietary requirements for the catering on the day?
Please include your dietaries when registering. We will attempt to accommodate your dietary requirements where possible. If you have updates following registration, please advise us immediately via (07) 3346 7999 or execed@business.uq.edu.au
What time should I arrive? What if I am running late?
Our courses are held Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm, unless specified otherwise via the calendar invite. Please arrive 10 minutes earlier to allow time for registration. If you are running late, please call the Executive Education team on (07) 3346 7999.
I am no longer able to attend the course. What are my options?
