Congratulations to finalists Mr James Boyce, Dr Morteza Namvar and Professor Andrew Burton-Jones (pictured left to right).

Their project, Agentic AI for Multilingual Scholarly Communication, delivered in partnership with the AIS Taskforce for Inclusive, Impactful Science uses responsible AI to translate academic research into multiple languages – expanding access to knowledge for non-English speakers worldwide.

By doing this, the tool connects research to broader audiences who can help to identify solutions to global challenges.

The AFR AI Awards recognise leading innovators and groundbreaking contributions shaping the future of artificial intelligence.
