In 2026, the UQ Business School proudly marks the 100th anniversary of the Bachelor of Commerce - UQ’s oldest and most enduring business degree.
Since its inception in 1926, the Bachelor of Commerce has shaped generations of business leaders, innovators and changemakers, with more than 25,000 graduates making their mark across Australia and around the world.
Over the past century, our teaching has continually evolved — responding to global economic shifts, embracing technological transformation, and adapting to the changing needs of industry and society. Today, our graduates are highly sought after for their advanced analytical and critical-thinking skills, and for the meaningful impact they bring to the global economy.
