Business School Postgraduate Networking Event

If you're a new Business postgraduate student in Semester 2, 2025, please join us at Customs House for this special welcome event to the Business School.

The event provides the perfect opportunity to network with your lecturers, dedicated student liaison officers and fellow students over drinks and canapés.

The evening will feature a special presentation from a recent UQ alum, Cynthia Li, discussing her personal and professional transformation throughout her master's journey.

About our speaker

Cynthia Li

Cynthia is an Information Systems and Technology Graduate at Rio Tinto, with a passion for strategic innovation in the technology sector. Since graduating as a proud alum of the UQ Business School with a Master of Business (Information Systems and Marketing) in 2023, she has been leveraging her degree to solve challenges and work in cross-functional teams within the industry.
 
During her studies, Cynthia was the Vice President of UQ Business School Postgraduate Association (UQBSPA), which she credits with helping to shape her leadership, professional and interpersonal skills. She is eager to share how students can maximise opportunities - both in and beyond the classroom - to build meaningful careers.
