About the event

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is revolutionising the healthcare industry by enhancing diagnostics, personalising treatment plans, and streamlining healthcare processes and administrative tasks. Applications of AI promise enhanced patient care and operational efficiency but demand significant investments in technology, infrastructure and skilled personnel.

Healthcare organisations must evaluate the costs versus benefits, considering the return on investment from improved outcomes and reduced costs. Hence, while the applications of AI in healthcare offer transformative potential, their successful implementation requires careful business planning and economic analysis to ensure sustainable and ethical integration into the healthcare system.

We invite you to attend UQ Future of Health Research Hub event on Friday 13 September. Hear from our presenters are they explore how healthcare organisations can evaluate the costs and benefits of AI.
