What is blended learning?

Blended programs offer a ‘Flipped Learning’ approach, whereby participants are provided with a series of online learning modules (equivalent to approximately one day of learning) prior to their two-day face-to-face workshops. The face-to-face component is where you’ll gain collaboration with others and learn to apply your learnings.

What are the benefits of blended learning?

  • Participants gain a fundamental understanding of the topic, preparing them more fully for their face-to-face session(s)
  • Participants have significantly more flexibility in regard to the way they learn
  • Participants can ‘self-pace’ the online element of their learning
  • Participants can access modules to repeat or refresh learning (before and after their face-to-face workshops)
  • Participants’ progress can be monitored and, where required, support can be provided
  • Participant responses and activity during the online portion of the workshop informs our facilitators on the specific needs of workshops participants so that the face-to-face component can be crafted to ensure they address specific capability development needs.

Are there assessments?

Some programs have an assessment components, however, completing the assessment isn’t essential (unless required by a participant’s employer).
