
Dr Wendy Pham graduated with a joint PhD from the University of Queensland and the University of Exeter (UK). Her PhD research focused on the disaster management practices of tourism-hospitality SMEs and the role of social networks in building disaster resilience.
Wendy currently works as a postdoctoral research assistant at UQ Business School. She is involved in various consulting projects for government and industry partners, including Ecotourism Australia, Parks Australia and Brisbane City Council. Her works revolve around sustainable tourism development in protected area-based destinations and micromobility transport integration in urban destinations.
Wendy is also a sessional academic within the Tourism Discipline, teaching a range of tourism and event management courses in both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. She has earned the UQ Graduate Teaching Associates Fellowship.
