Dr Michael Hollewand

Dr Michael Hollewand is the founding director of Hollewand Consulting Associates Pty Ltd, an independent strategic management consultancy established in 2014. Prior to that, he was a Vice President at QGC – a BG Group Company, where he advised the management team on organisation, capability development and led performance improvement projects.

Over the last decade, Michael held a range of senior leadership positions in strategy, markets and organisation development at BG Group – an international energy company. He joined BG Group as Chief Strategist in 2003, having previously worked as a consultant at McKinsey & Company where he served clients in the energy, industrial and pharmaceutical sectors. Michael also held operational management and technical roles at Zeneca Pharmaceuticals in the UK.

Michael holds a degree in chemical and materials engineering from Auckland University, and a PhD from Cambridge University, where he was a Commonwealth Scholar and Oppenheimer Research Fellow.
