This scholarship aims to support undergraduate commencing and continuing students across the 3 BEL schools who are facing financial hardship.

Eligibility	Future or current domestic student. Are enrolled, or intend to enrol, full-time in any undergraduate programs at the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law (including duals outside of the BEL Faculty).
Scholarship details	$4,500 awarded. 1 year duration whilst undertaking full-time studies.

Supports high achieving students to continue their studies in the UQ Business School Honours program.

Eligibility	Current or future undergraduate domestic or international student Enrolled in any of the following honours programs: Bachelor of Business Management (Honours) Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) Completing any of the following programs: Bachelor of Advanced Business (Honours) (Research Pathway only) Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics (Honours) (Finance major only).

Provides support to domestic Business School students who are experiencing financial disadvantage.

Enrolled full-time in any of the following programs: Bachelor of Commerce (including duals with the Bachelor of Commerce) Bachelor of Advanced Finance and Economics (Honours) Bachelor of Advanced Business (Honours) Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) program. Can demonstrate and provide documentary evidence of financial hardship Any other matter that the selection committee considers to be relevant to the applicant’s future success in the profession of commerce.

This scholarship is to encourage and support female students experiencing financial need to study finance at The University of Queensland.

Student Managed Investment Fund Scholarship

Established in 2025 from the investment income from the Student Managed Investment Fund (SMIF), this scholarship is to encourage and support students at the Business School who are experiencing financial hardship.

Eligibility	Current undergraduate domestic student. Enrolled full-time in a Business School undergraduate coursework program. Able to demonstrate financial hardship with supporting documentation. Preference may be given to candidates who excel academically, participate actively in extracurricular activities, and perform well in an interview.
Scholarship details	$4,500 subject to variation based on annual fund disbursements. One-off payment, one year. The number of Scholarships available each year will be determined annually.

Summer and Winter Research scholarships

The Summer and Winter Research Programs offer scholarships to students wishing to undertake a research internship over the summer and winter vacation periods.

Research internships provide students with the opportunity to work with a researcher in a formal research environment so that they may experience the research process and discover what research is being undertaken in their field of interest at UQ.

This scholarship supports high-potential entrepreneurial students completing coursework programs at The University of Queensland Business School by providing financial assistance for living expenses and business development costs.

Eligibility	Current undergraduate domestic student. Enrolled full-time in any of the following programs: Bachelor of Advanced Business (Honours) Bachelor of Advanced Finance & Economics (Honours) Bachelor of Business Management (incl. duals) Bachelor of Business Management (Honours) Bachelor of Commerce (incl. duals) Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) Bachelor of Tourism, Hotel and Event Management (incl. duals) Can demonstrate and provide documentary evidence of demonstrated entrepreneurial activity or strong interest in entrepreneurship, and Strength of interest in pursuing study in the area of entrepreneurship as evidenced by the application.
