MGTS7818 - Industry Engagement Capstone

MBA Director, Associate Professor Nicole Hartley will deliver the Industry Engagement Capstone in Semester 2. This course is designed for anyone building general management skills, high level strategic business problem solving skills, aspiring consultants and people that want a relatively flexible work schedule for this course. The program will allow you to put everything you have learnt throughout your MBA and apply that to a real-life business problem, dealing directly with an industry client.

The industry engagement capstone commences with a kick off day on Sunday 21st July, with other key touchpoints and assessment dates to be announced. This course does not adhere to a regular lecture schedule.

EIBS7800 - Entrepreneurship Capstone

Entrepreneur In Residence, Cameron Turner will deliver the Entrepreneurship Capstone in Semester 2. EIBS7800 is designed to enable students to integrate all the capabilities they have acquired throughout their MBA with their own domain knowledge and skills to create value by solving complex problems people care enough about. Students taking this course can either work on an idea or side hustle of their own or can work on a UQ project.

The Entrepreneurship Capstone will commence during the first teaching week, and there will be a regular night for classes. Remember if you don't have your own entrepreneurial idea there will be opportunities to join other entrepreneurial projects.
