In light of Greater Brisbane's lockdown announcement on 29 March 2021, the MBA Mentoring Launch has been postponed.
The University of Queensland prioritises people's health, safety, and well-being – alumni, students, industry partners, and staff – above all else. A new date will be set soon as our esteemed guest speaker, Pat Howard, is delighted to speak at a future MBA Mentoring event.
Please be advised that the postponement of this event will not impact the commencement of the MBA Mentoring Program. MBA Mentoring participants are advised to log into Chronus for all program-related updates.

In 2020, the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic across all the sectors of the global economy was unprecedented. During this launch event for the UQ MBA Mentoring Program, Pat Howard - UQ MBA alumni, CEO of MSL Solutions, former Wallaby, and General Manager of Team Performance at Cricket Australia and Rugby Australia - will share his insights on how businesses can develop resilience. Pat will focus on the intersection of data and decisiveness as fundamental for future-proofing companies against potential challenges.

Pat will share how he draws on his leadership, digital effectiveness and collaborative mindset skills to drive business decisions and outcomes in an evolving workforce. He will also discuss his coaching and mentoring capabilities that have empowered his business career so far and the vital importance of fostering networks.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Current COVID-19 physical distancing requirements will be adhered to at the event in order to reduce the prevalence of transferring the virus. Physical distancing advice is to keep at least 1.5m away from others. If you are showing any of the below noted COVID-19 symptoms, please stay home.
