Executive Education FAQ's - Custom Workshops

Do you offer customised workshops?

Yes, of course! Our team can work with you to design a workshop that fits your needs. Please be advised: a minimum of 10 participants is required for custom workshops. We also provide customised courses on many other business and leadership topics, so whatever your professional development needs, we can assist.

Are in-house workshops also delivered at the UQ Brisbane City location?

In-house custom workshops can be delivered at the City location or an appropriate alternative site (as specified by yourself), although the cost of an external venue is not included in the program fees.

What is the cost of in-house/custom delivery?

We would love to work with you on a proposal. Please get in touch with the Executive Education team.

What are the benefits of in-house/custom delivery?

  • Pricing is per-day and includes up to 22 participants (each participant over 11 further reduces the ‘per-head-cost’).
  • Free workshop delivery at the UQ Brisbane City location (catering is not included in this cost).
  • Contextualisation of the workshop to the specific needs of the group by a UQ subject matter expert.
  • A wider range of topics. Essentially, any business or leadership topic can be delivered, although some topics may require significant design and development work, which attracts additional fees.

How much does a fully customised/contextualised workshop cost?

This depends on a variety of factors, including the topic, the level of workshop design and development required, the delivery location, the number of days of delivery. Please contact the Executive Education team for a full quote.

How do I qualify for a custom workshop?

If you’re interested in organising a custom workshop for a group of between 10 and 20 employees and have a budget of approx. 10k (ex GST) per day, you may qualify for a custom workshop. However, we can deliver custom workshops to smaller cohorts with the caveat that this can negatively impact on price per head, participant engagement/interaction, and/or learning outcomes.

How much notice/lead time is required for a custom workshop?

  • Existing Topic – Approximately 6 to 8 weeks’ notice, but this can be expedited if circumstances allow.
  • Brand new program – More work and time is required when creating a new program than the 6-8 weeks required for an existing topic. We require time to conduct a capability/skills-needs analysis (if requested), as well as to study and appreciate the client’s company context, culture, strategy, and challenges in order to effectively design and develop the custom program. As a result, precise pricing requires consultation with (and a proposal from) an Industry Engagement Manager.

Is a custom program a one-off?

The program can be delivered to you as a one-off capability building opportunity. However, we encourage continuing a partnership focused on the ongoing capability development of your workforce to increase employee engagement and productivity, as well as the profitability and overall success of your organisation.
