The MGMan program offers a range of courses in:

Planning your program

You'll choose from three fields of study at UQ. Your courses will depend on your academic background and the agreement with your home university.

Follow the program and course advice under Global Management to help you understand the requirements based on the arrangement between your home institution and UQ.

Course contact and study requirements

As an incoming double degree student, you must study in Brisbane for the duration of your program.

You should spend approximately 10 hours studying per week for each 2-unit course, including contact time, during the semester. Some courses will require more hours.

Assessment and exams

Final exams are usually at the end of each semester in an exam period. Not all courses culminate in a final exam. Some incorporate assessments such as assignments, presentations, and projects. These may be done individually or in groups throughout the semester.

Grading System

Most courses use a numbering system for final grades, with 7 as the highest possible grade and 1 as the lowest. For more information on grades, see my.UQ.

Final transcripts are sent to double-degree students after the results are released each semester.

Application process

The application process starts at your home university.

We notify your home institution when the nomination round is open, and your home institution selects and nominates candidates. If nominated, you'll be informed of the application process, including how to apply and what evidence you need to provide.

You need to meet our minimum English language requirements.

Before applying to UQ, ensure you have the following documents:

academic transcripts and award certificates for your previous bachelor's degree and current master’s study
CV/resume outlining any internship or work experience to date
certified copy of your passport
evidence of meeting UQ’s English language requirements.
