Keynote Speaker: Anne Hardy

Associate Professor Anne Hardy from the University of Tasmania is the keynote speaker for this event. Anne's research interests lie mainly in the domains of tourist behaviour and sustainable tourism. Some of Anne’s most well-known research is the multiple award winning project, Tourism Tracer. Tourism Tracer’s success resulted in changes in the way that destinations such as Tasmania collect visitor information and has been used in many other national and international jurisdictions and has since been commercialised. Anne is also the Co-Director of the Tourism Research and Education Network (TRENd) at the University of Tasmania, helping other academics connect with industry partners to share their research.
