On 16 March 2016 more than 80 UQ Business School MBA alumni, their guests and MBA faculty joined together at Fortitude Valley’s private dining venue, Mirra, for an evening of wine tasting, canapés and networking.
Co-hosted by MBA Director, Dr Sarah Kelly, and 2013 MBA alumnus Melissa Orr, the event drew on the success of the MBA program in latest The Economist and AFR BOSS rankings, and the upcoming alumni engagement opportunities, including the inaugural MBA student led Australian Business Symposium.
A highlight of the evening was the wine tasting, whereby a collection of wines were carefully selected by Luke Fitzpatrick, Sommelier with Samuel Smith & Son, who carefully matched each beverage to a range of specially selected canapés.
Overall the night was a huge success, as it provided an excellent occasion for our valued MBA alumni to network with one another while enjoying a delicious selection of fine wines and tasteful canapés.
