The University of Queensland (UQ) Service Innovation Alliance (SIA) is delighted to host our annual Roundtable Summit on Wednesday 9 November at Customs House.

This event is a wonderful opportunity to connect and engage in meaningful discussion and help direct future work designed to address key challenges.

This year's topic is 'Digital Service Transformation: Future Trends and Opportunities'.

The morning will commence with a light breakfast followed by short presentations by two international experts, Professor Tor Andreassen from the Norwegian School of Economics and Professor Paul Maglio from the University of California.

Following the keynote presentations, we will break into seven topical areas for deeper brainstorming and discussion. The table discussions will contribute to a white paper, welcoming participant insights to form a comprehensive overview.

The seven roundtable topics are:

  1. AI in the Customer Experience: Maintaining humanness in the age of digitalisation
Table Leads: Professor Janet McColl-Kennedy and Professor Tor W. Andreassen
  2. Blockchain Technologies in Service
Table Leads: Dr Christoph Breidbach and Professor Paul Maglio
  3. Cybersecurity as a Service: The Future of Managed Security Services
Table Leads: Dr Ivano Bongiovanni and Professor Ryan Ko
  4. Sustainability
