On 29 September 2016 The University of Queensland Faculty of Business, Economics and Law hosted a panel discussion titled Beyond Sydney 2030: The Future for Sustainable Business in Australia which was attended by more than 60 alumni.
The panel was facilitated by Professor Andrew Griffiths, Executive Dean (Acting) of the Faculty of Business, Economics and Law along with two UQ alumni, Jackie Allender from the Australian Centre for Corporate Social Responsibility and David Jenkins from National Australia Bank.
Following the discussion, UQ Business School academic and wine enthusiast Dr Jonathan Staggs showcased a selection of wines from the McLaren Vale region, including 2015 wine maker of the year S.C. Pannell. Mr Peter Gross, Managing Director, Black Pearl Epicure guided the guests through a range of gourmet cheeses carefully chosen to compliment these wines.
